“We’ve just discovered Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort by accident driving through the region. Saw the signs and decided to check it out. The drive up the mountain was stunning along the Tourist Road, with large gum trees either side and lyre birds cooing across the valley. We were not disappointed when we reached the top. Noticed that the Adventure Hub is open everyday so we decided to hire a bike and explore the Resort’s trails. “We’ve been coming to Baw Baw during Winter for years now. We love the laid back nature, the gum trees covered in snow and staying at one of the old-school retro lodges. There is nothing pretentious about it, a small Resort compared to some of the bigger Resorts in Victoria but that’s why we love it.
