Where can I buy my lift tickets?

Lift passes can only be purchased on mountain from:

• The Cactus Black General Store
• Resort Administration Building
• Snow Sports Centre ticket booth

Your Lift Ticket fee covers the costs of Park Construction as well as snow making & snow grooming services, which assist the Park to be better maintained for visitor use.

Tobogganing is FREE!

Hire your toboggan and head straight to the toboggan park, there is no longer a toboggan fee. Tobogganing is fun for the whole family, the Resort has two toboggan parks and Frosti and Philly the mountain’s mascots are seen most weekends at the Frosti Frog Hollow Toboggan Park so don’t miss them! Please note that only plastic moulded Resort approved toboggans without sharp edges are allowed to be used to ensure the safety of visitors (Aldi toboggans, blow-up toboggans or toys and snow skates are not permitted). School Groups

Mt Baw Baw is Melbourne’s closest downhill ski resort, located only 2.5 hours east of the CBD. With 7 lifts (3 T-bars, 2 Platters and 1 Poma plus a “magic carpet”), Mt Baw Baw is the perfect place for school groups to learn to ski or practice skiing or boarding skills. Set amongst the snow gums, Mt Baw Baw’s slopes are protected from the elements and are great for students to be set free but not set loose!

The mountain’s toboggan runs are always extremely popular with first time visitors to the snow. Cross country skiing is a great group activity; there are 10km of cross country trails within the resort which connect to a wider network of trails in the Baw Baw National Park. Guided snowshoe tours around the resort are also available for groups and offer insight into the natural environment, snow and resort management. Mt Baw Baw is the perfect place for beginners to learn how to ski or snowboard. Join a Snow Sports lesson with one of our highly qualified instructors who will ensure you have a safe and fun learning experience to suit your skills, ability and goals.

Mt Baw Baw’s intimate village setting provides all the necessities for an enjoyable school trip. The Village Restaurant offers spectacular views of West Gippsland and Western Port Bay. The Baw Baw Plateau is the only place in Australia where you can be in the snow and see the ocean! Mt Baw Baw offers a range of catering & accommodation options; from backpackers to apartments and cabins; there is something to suit all needs and budgets.
