Tanjil Creek Lodge is located in the centre of Mt Baw Baw’s village, containing four lockable bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. There is a fully equipped shared kitchen and lounge with a smart TV, a gas log fire and drying room. You can book rooms individually or the whole lodge (rooms 1-4), suiting couples, families or large groups.
Tanjil Creek (sleeping 15+ people) is a boutique, newly renovated lodge, centrally heated and a spaciously shared property.
Located close to the base of the Maltese Cross T-Bar and directly across from the Frosti Frog Hollow Toboggan Park and available to book all year.
“The Lodge” offers four independent, lockable bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. All bedrooms have double or queen-sized beds with pillow-top mattresses, wall mounted TVs, hair dryers and privacy blinds. The mezzanine level in the lodge includes both a large dining space and kitchen (2 fridges with freezers, microwave oven, large oven/hot plate, dishwasher, 4 tables and 16+ chairs, coffee machine and cutlery and cooking utensils). You can self-cater or pamper yourself at the Village Central Restaurant.
The lounge contains a large flat screen TV with Netflix, and gas log fire to keep you warm in winter and Wi-Fi throughout the building. The lounge room has a timber cathedral ceiling with floor to ceiling windows which overlooks all the action on the toboggan park.
This ski-in ski-out lodge takes pride in its cleanliness and quality of fittings and is Australian Tourism Accredited.

Four trundle beds and three portacots are available for hire at $35 each including linen and towels – please let Guest Services know upon booking.
Important Information:
- In winter there is a two-night minimum stay (Friday and Saturday nights must be booked together)
- SPECIAL CANCELLATION POLICY
- 1. A cancellation must be made in writing.
- 2. Individual bookings cancelled within 30 days of arrival are nonrefundable
- 3. Individual bookings cancelled within 60 days of arrival will receive a 50% refund.
- 4. Individual bookings cancelled outside 60 days of arrival will be charged an administration fee of 10%.
- 5. Changing dates may be considered a cancellation.
- 6. Refunds may be due to customers in extreme conditions or circumstance such as road closures due to incident.
- 7. Refunds are NOT PROVIDED as a result of lack of snow or poor weather conditions or power outages or events beyond the resort’s control.
- 8. No shows will be considered a cancellation.
- COVID CANCELLATION POLICY – bookings that are affected by a Covid Lockdown and unable to travel due to government restrictions may receive a full refund (Less an Admin Fee of 10%) or transfer to another date.
- The lodge owners recommend travel insurance and Victorian Ambulance Membership.
- Holiday plans can be disrupted, and we are aware that cancellation fees can be expensive. For this reason, we recommend you take out appropriate travel insurance and/or Victorian Ambulance cover when booking your holiday. It is general inexpensive and offers valuable peace of mind, and some insurance companies cover no snow occurrences. www.ambulance.vic.gov.au

This is the largest room and sleeps 5 people (children’s cot or trundle bed possible) and contains:
- 1 tri-bunk (double bed on bottom and single on top), 1 single bunk bed (and a children’s cot/trundle bed if required)
- En-suited bathroom
- Small fridge, microwave and tea/coffee making facilities
- Shared areas are the fully equipped kitchen, dining area, lounge and drying room.
Room 2
This room sleeps 4 people (plus a possible trundle bed or cot) and contains:
- 1 tri-bunk (double bed on bottom and single on top), 1 king single bed and a possible trundle for an extra person
- Dedicated private bathroom with a code lock
- Shared areas are the fully equipped kitchen, dining area, lounge and drying room.
Room 3
This room sleeps 4 people (plus a possible child trundle bed or cot) and contains:
- 1 tri-bunk (double bed on bottom and single on top), 1 king single bed (and a possible cot)
- Dedicated private bathroom with a code lock
- Shared areas are the fully equipped kitchen, dining area, lounge and drying room.
Room 4
This room sleeps 2 people, a great couples retreat:
- 1 queen bed and a possible trundle or cot for an extra person
- En-suited bathroom
- Small fridge, microwave and tea/coffee making facilities
- Shared areas are the fully equipped kitchen, dining area, lounge and drying room.
Whole Lodge (Rooms 1-4)
You can book all rooms as the whole lodge, ideal for large groups.
Sleeps 15 plus an extra 4 people on trundles or portacots. Each additional trundle or portacot is $35 with linen & towels included and must be selected on booking.
