The Australia Tarmac Rally Championship returns to Baw Baw in 2021 with an action packed weekend on the Tourist roads between Icy Creek, Tanjil Bren and the top of the resort.
The event is open for participants (see link above) and also for people withing to spectate. Spectators should contact the event organisers.
Road closures apply for this event.
The Tourist Road (from Porcupine Crk Rd at Icy Crk) and Resort Entry at the junction with South Face Road road will be closed from 8am to 5pm both days. Limited opportunities will be available throughout the day for traffic to pass through however these times are subject to race schedules and may change.
If you are travelling to and from the resort we recommend doing so before or after these times. There will be vehicular access during lunch break for 45 minutes between 12.00noon and 1.30pm and between stages approximately every 1 to 2 hours however these times are subject to change and delays.
Due to the limited time between stages we advise that cyclists will not have access to the resort during this event.
The AASA Australian Tarmac Rally Championship will bring Tarmac Rally teams from across the country to the stunning Victorian high country roads for four rounds - including the Mt Baw Baw Sprint. The ATRC events offer three levels of driving for modern, classic and showroom-spec cars: one for fully licensed rally drivers, competing against the clock in vehicles which meet full tarmac rally specifications.
